Dr. Yu
Hi, I'm Dr. Bob Yu. I grew up in Louisville, KY and attended Washington University in St. Louis for my undergraduate studies and the University of Louisville School of Dentistry for my dental education. Afterwards, I completed a one-year general practice residency at Summa Akron City Hospital (where LeBron James and Steph Curry were born) to expand my clinical skills and knowledge. Upon completion, I worked at a rural, public health clinic in Southeastern Ohio to treat a severely economically-disadvantaged population that desperately needed dental care. In June of 2019, my wife and I moved to Orange County for her pediatric training at UC Irvine/CHOC.
My approach to dentistry is very conservative and I aim to preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible. I am well-trained in all facets of general dentistry and am dedicated to providing the highest quality care I can to every patient. I value the faith and trust patients have in me, so I will never over-diagnose or oversell treatment that is not absolutely necessary. I make sure to listen to each patient and his or her individual needs, so that we can create an optimal treatment plan together.

Dr. Raffie
Dr. Raffie Garabedian will be joining our practice on a monthly basis to serve our patients. Dr. Garabedian completed his dental school training at the University of Pennsylvania (PENN), an Ivy League School. He graduated as one of the twenty cream of crop students with honors in clinical dentistry at the Advanced Dental Care Clinic in Philadelphia. He was also elected to honoree membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon by Eta Chapter Society. As a dental student, Dr. Garabedian was awarded the prestigious Abrams Cohen Award in Periodontics. Dr. Garabedian went on to completing advanced training in periodontics and implantology at the University of Southern California (USC). During his residency, Dr. Garabedian was the very first resident to complete a Master of Science in Biomedical Implant and Tissue Engineering (BITE) where his research focused on gum tissue and bone engineering in animal and human models. Dr. Garabedian philosophy of practice is patient centered care and expecting nothing less than excellent and predictability in outcome Dr. Garabedian maintains professional affiliations with the following dental organizations: American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, and Western Society of Periodontology. Away from dental world, Dr. Garabedian finds great pleasure in spending time with his family, cooking, and book readings.

Dr. Phan is our practice to serve our patients involving either preserving part, or all of the dental pulp in health, or removing all of the pulp in irreversible disease. This includes teeth with irreversibly inflamed and infected pulpal tissue.
Dr. Phan completed his dental school training at the University of Minnesota School Dentist.
